Ford teases new Puma ST
Ford has provided a shadowy glimpse of the upcoming Puma ST, a high-performance version of its compact SUV.
The blue oval has released a teaser video on social media of the model that aims to rival the likes of the Audi SQ2 and the Hyundai Kona N.
Power for the vehicle will reportedly come from the 1.5-litre turbocharged three-cylinder that's also in the Fiesta ST. The Puma ST is expected to produce the same 148kW and 290Nm and should be able to clock 0-100kph in about seven seconds.
Chassis upgrades over the standard Puma should be extensive, with revisions including lowered suspension, stiffer springs and larger disc brakes for the front axle.
A sporty body kit also promises revised bumper front and rear bumpers, twin exhaust outlets and a subtle boot lid spoiler.
