Ford NZ fills key leadership role

Ford New Zealand has announced the appointment of Greg MacDonald as its new network strategy director, effective from August 21.

The company says the position is a key leadership and relationship role amid the rapidly changing automotive environment. 

MacDonald, pictured, will be responsible for creating, developing and implementing commercial growth opportunities for Ford NZ’s dealer network and its customer experience offerings.

He has been in the automotive industry for more than 20 years and worked for multiple brands.

His past roles include establishing the Isuzu network in New Zealand, general manager – sales and marketing for Fiat Chrysler NZ and marketing manager at the Ateco Group.

Most recently he spent more than five-and-a-half years as general manager sales and marketing at Kia New Zealand, helping the brand double its market share.
