Finance company pays tribute to former CEO

MTF Finance has paid tribute to Angus Bradshaw, who was its chief executive officer for 17 years, after he died in Arrowtown this month.

Bradshaw retired from MTF Finance in November 2014 and the company says he drove a number of significant changes and “set the company up to become a market leader”.

“He shifted MTF Finance to lead the industry in online origination, converted from a co-operative to an investor-owned company, launched the franchise business and developed a wholesale funding base after the GFC,” it adds in a LinkedIn post.

“Thank you for your significant contributions to MTF Finance, Angus. You will always be a part of our legacy.”

After retiring, Bradshaw spent his time developing Central Otago pinot noir wine and riding the area’s cycle trails.

He was a founder of Grasshopper Rock winery and at the time of his death was a director of the business along with holing directorships in Central Otago Pinot Noir Ltd and Mount Linton Station Ltd.

Bradshaw passed away on February 9 in Arrowtown and a private service to celebrate his life was held on February 15. He leaves behind his wife, Ro, two children, Anna and Oliver, and two grandchildren, Walter and Jack.
