Farmlands to team up with Z

Kiwi-owned Farmlands Co-operative has teamed up with Z Energy to offer Farmlands cardholders a special discount at the pump. From next month, 65,000 shareholders will save 12 cents per litre on fuel when they use their Farmlands cards at any Z service station nationwide. The fuel company will also become a Farmlands card partner from June 1. “Signing a national card partner like Z ensures our shareholders get a better deal. It reinforces the value of our Farmlands Card to rural New Zealand and brings more local service and value to shareholders,” says Farmlands CEO Peter Reidie. Reidie says the card will match offers available from competing stations Challenge and Caltex. “From June 1, Z’s more than 200 service stations nationwide will join the Farmlands family and shareholders will be able to use their card at 438 fuel sites.” The agreement is expected to add a further 30 million litres of wholesale fuel volume to Z Energy’s annual operations.
