Electric 0-100kph in 3.8 seconds

What MG describes as its fastest-accelerating and most powerful production model is now available for test drives at dealerships.

The all-new MG4 XPOWER can make the 0-100kph dash in 3.8 seconds, boasts dual-motor power of 320kW and 600Nm of torque, and is available from $69,990 plus on-road costs.

It’s available with the full clean car discount of $7,015, effectively reducing the price to $62,975 post-rebate.

“Words don’t do the acceleration of this new car justice,” says Arek Zywot, country manager for MG New Zealand. “It’s a remarkable piece of automotive wizardry and will surprise die-in-the-wool petrolheads who need convincing of the hyper-hatch capabilities of a new, fully electric vehicle.”
