Dealership takes on GWM

Ingham Great Lake in Taupo has boosted its line-up by adding GWM to the company.

The news comes as the marque’s range, which currently features eight models, is set for significant expansion in the coming year with plans to almost double its offerings.

GWM has already captured the market’s attention with several releases including New Zealand’s first-ever full hybrid ute, the Cannon Alpha, pictured, which made its debut earlier this year.

“By introducing GWM to our portfolio, we are strengthening our ability to offer a broader selection of high-performance alternatives for our customers,” says Hugo Richards, dealer principal at Ingham Great Lake.

“GWM’s growing presence and commitment to producing vehicles of outstanding quality make it an ideal addition to our family of brands.”

Trent Ingham, managing director of the Ingham Group, adds: “GWM’s pro-active approach to the future and its ability to respond to the needs of modern drivers aligns with our company values of excellence, quality and customer satisfaction.”

Upcoming releases by GWM, which is also a sponsor of the One New Zealand Warriors rugby league team, include its first plug-in hybrid – the Haval H6GT PHEV – in early 2025.
