Coffee Run in Auckland

Collecting Cars, a global online platform for selling classic, performance and collectibles, is kicking off 2024 with two big events either side of the Tasman.
Known for its record-breaking gatherings at venues such as Bicester Heritage in the UK, CollectingCars.com is hosting Coffee Run events in Auckland and Sydney.
The Auckland Showgrounds will host New Zealand’s first Collecting Cars Coffee Run on January 29 as part of the brand’s official market launch in this country.
From this month, Kiwis can enjoy the full suite of the website’s benefits when it officially joins markets from the UK, Europe, North America, the Middle East and Australia.
Joining the Collecting Cars team down under for both events will be journalist, presenter and racing driver Chris Harris, pictured, along with company founder Edward Lovett.
Lovett says: “It’s a thrill to officially launch the Collecting Cars online platform in New Zealand, and bring together lovers of collector cars from across Sydney and Auckland.”
Harris adds: “The collector car scene in Australia and New Zealand is unlike any other. It’s a fascinating playground. There are homegrown homologation classics built by the likes of Ford, Holden and Chrysler right through to some of the rarest and most storied exotic supercars of the past 50 years.”
Collecting Cars lays claim to being the fastest-growing online auction platform for collectible cars via its free-to-list and-sell service. In December 2023, it launched Private Sales, a service tailored to selling the world’s most exclusive vehicles.
Coffee Run Auckland starts at 8am on January 29 at Auckland Showgrounds with the Sydney edition taking place at Australian Turf Club in Rosehill on February 4.
