Two Auckland dealerships and one from Tauranga have emerged top of the pile in BMW Group New Zealand’s annual prizegiving.

East Auckland BMW was crowned the marque’s metro dealer of the year, Coombes Johnston BMW Tauranga took the provincial title and Auckland Mini Garage was named the top dealership for the Mini brand.

BMW Group NZ handed out a number of gongs as it recognised the achievements of its dealer network at the 2021 Dealer of the Year awards.

Adam Shaver, managing director, paid tribute to the contributions of those companies over the past 12 months when he spoke at the gala event held at the Park Hyatt Auckland on June 22. 

“Our valued dealer partners are the backbone of our business, and it is an honour to recognise and pay tribute to their efforts and ongoing support of the BMW Group brands,” he says. 

“2021 was a challenging year due to lockdowns and global supply issues, but our dealer network displayed great resilience, remained focused on our customers, and achieved outstanding success.”
