Apprentice wins MTA title

A mechanic from Invercargill has been named apprentice of the year by the Motor Trade Association. Nick Remnant, of Southland Vehicle Sales, which holds the franchise for Kia, has scooped the honour. The MTA’s annual award recognises the skills and potential of talented apprentices who are taking their future into their own hands and employers investing in the future of the automotive industry. Another Southland Vehicle Sales staff member, Blair King, took out the supervisor of the year award.
