AA to boost network

The motoring services division of the AA has announced plans to expand its operations with a slew of senior roles now being recruited for.

There are currently 37 AA Auto Centres and more than 140 AA-approved repairers nationwide and while the Covid-19 pandemic has resulted in an uncertain period for New Zealand and globally, “it has enabled many organisations to hone in on what they need to achieve next”.

Jonathan Sergel, general manager of motoring services, says: “We are fortunate that at the AA there are still significant opportunities for growth – growing the number of customers we serve, growing our product range and continuing to grow our network.

“To ensure we can best meet that expansion, we’ve created four new roles we’re now recruiting for. We are keen to find two new relationship managers.”

One will be based in Auckland and will be looking after the northern region covering the country from north of Taupo. The other will take care of the southern region, south of Taupo, and will be based in Wellington or Christchurch.

“These relationship managers will be tasked with looking after our existing customers across Auto Centre franchises and the approved-repairer network,” adds Sergel, pictured.

AA Motoring Services is also on the hunt for a business development manager to deliver new business across all products and services, as well as growing the Auto Centre and approved-repairer networks. That role will be assisted by a new 12-month contract business analyst tasked with working on new product development.

Sergel says: “I’m really excited by the evolution these roles will be able to support. This will ensure the long-term success of AA Motoring Services as we build our motoring network nationwide.” Visit careers.aa.co.nz to find out more.
