AA enters MBI market
The AA has entered the mechanical breakdown (MBI) insurance market by launching two products.
They are Advantage and Advantage Plus. The products are being delivered with the association’s partner Autosure, which is part of Turners Automotive Group.
Advantage offers cover up to $5,000 or market value. Advantage Plus covers up to $10,000, $12,500 or $15,000 and includes cover for modern safety, comfort and performance technology.
Both offer cover for EV and hybrid batteries.
“The AA understands what motorists need, including flexibility when it comes to cover and their budget,” says Ben Rose, pictured, head of financial services.
Earlier this month, the organisation launched a life-insurance product, which followed on from a travel-insurance policy in December 2025.
