Only Ferrari to be listed

Posted on 03 May, 2015

Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA) has no plans to list any other brand from its portfolio except Ferrari, says chief executive officer Sergio Marchionne. Last year, the marque decided to spin off the prancing horse, sell a 10 per cent stake via a public offering and distribute the rest of FCA’s stake in the supercar brand to its shareholders to try to unlock FCA and Ferrari dollars. But Marchionne has told shareholders that Ferrari’s listing “might be in 2016, but I think it will be in 2015”. The decision to offload Ferrari had sparked industry over whether FCA may also consider listing other marqies, such as Maserati or Alfa Romeo.
