Wig in car sparks cop call-out
A wig sticking out of a car boot led to a hilarious police call-out after someone was concerned a person had been shut in the back of the vehicle.
Toria Townsend, from Ohio in the US, told Cleveland 19 News she was running late for a hair appointment on June 22 so removed the hairpiece, threw it in her Kia car and slammed the boot shut.
Shortly after arriving home, two officers knocked on her door and asked Townsend if she was a hairdresser. When she said no, they explained they were responding to concerns someone was trapped in the car, reports the news site.
Realising it is only a wig, the trio in the viral video can then be seen descending into laughter as Townsend races to get her car keys.
