The Chevrolet Silverado 2500 HD has been updated for the 2025 model year with style and design changes.  

These include a new-look exterior, blacked-out front and rear bumpers, red recovery hooks and 20-inch high-gloss black alloys with black centre caps.

The equipment list already includes the 6.6-litre Duramax Turbo Diesel V8 engine, which produces a total 350kW of power and 1,322Nm of torque. 

In addition to the ute’s 4.5-tonne braked towing capacity, there is trailer-equipped adaptive cruise control, General Motors’ in-vehicle trailering app with trailer profiles and large vertical power-adjustable trailering mirrors.

The 2500 HD also has leather-appointed seating that’s heated and ventilated in the front and heated in the rear, a heated leather steering wheel, powered sunroof and powered seating in the front.

A sizeable 25.7 inches of screens cover the infotainment system and driver information, while Apple CarPlay, Android Auto and a seven-speaker Bose Premium sound system provide the driving soundtrack.

The Silverado 2500 HD is priced from $178,500 with the 1500 LTZ premium tech pack starting at $153,000. Prestige paint is an option at $1,250.
