Tuned up with GR

Toyota NZ has launched its Gazoo Racing (GR) Genuine Parts line-up to offer drivers a new level of performance and personalisation. 

Inspired by the process of developing and refining vehicles for motorsport, the collection of genuine tuning parts helps owners unlock their cars’ potential and create something unique to them.

The parts have been developed in the same way GR models are, says Andrew Davis, chief strategic officer.

He adds: “Gazoo Racing resonates with people because it brings motorsport DNA into everyday life. Bringing GR parts to New Zealand is a huge milestone for the brand. 

“It means drivers can now get genuine factory developed performance upgrades. For us, it represents the next steps in growing the GR community here.

Our customers have been asking for them and we’re excited to be able to give them new ways to customise their vehicles.”

Race fans got a first look at the parts range at Hampton Downs on March 28 with some 20 pieces on display. People also had the chance to see the first-generation GR Yaris Aero Performance package fitted with the new genuine parts including a GR software update to give potential buyers inspiration for their own builds. 

Toyota Stores around the country will support owners wanting to upgrade their vehicles with trained teams who understand what these parts are designed to do and how to get the best out of them.
