Trade Me names new head of motors

Trade Me has announced the appointment of Brendan Hall as its new head of motors and a member of its executive leadership team.
The company says Hall, pictured, has a strong background in online classifieds after holding senior roles at Carsales.com.au and Amazon Australia.
He was responsible for launching and growing Amazon Australia’s third-party marketplace business and during his time at Carsales was general manager of digital retailing and a member of the country leadership team.
Hall most recently led technology in New Zealand and digital product across Australia and New Zealand for BP’s mobility and convenience business.
He replaces Jeremy Wade at Trade Me, as the latter moves into a new role within the company’s wider team, and says he is excited to meet with dealer partners and customers.
“I’m looking forward to building on the great work the team has already done, getting closer to our customers and continuing to create value for both buyers and sellers,” adds Hall.
Trade Me says Hall will draw on his experience leading technology and digital product functions to also prioritise the delivery of timely insights to dealers and build wider relationships with broader industry partners.
