Ten-year warranty launched

MG Motor NZ has introduced a 10-year, 250,000km warranty across its range of new models.

In addition, it has reduced the sticker prices of its new energy vehicles (NEVs), including battery electric vehicles (BEVs) and plug-in hybrids (PHEVs). 

Harrie Yan, chief operating officer, says: “If you’re looking for value and peace of mind from a new-car purchase, the length and quality of the factory warranty should be as important as horsepower.  

“From August 1, every new MG vehicle purchased from an authorised MG dealer around the country will be covered by what we believe is the longest factory warranty on offer in the market.

“When it comes time for our customers to upgrade their cars, we want them to turn to us first as we have a wide range of products in the market and more on the way.”
