Stars surprise in Buick ad
Buick called on the sporting skills of then-NFL quarterback Cam Newton and the glamour of supermodel Miranda Kerr when creating a hilarious advert to be shown during a Super Bowl clash.
The commercial centres around a game of Pee Wee American football where one of the young players transforms into Newton and outmuscles his tiny opponents before setting up a touchdown.
A coach of one of the teams later turns into Kerr as Buick tries to emphasise the surprising qualities of its Cascada and Encore models.
The advert screened during the NFL’s showpiece in 2017, in which New England Patriots defeated the Atlanta Falcons.
