Small SUV to enhance marque’s range
Dealers prepare for the arrival of the new Kia Stonic, which offers buyers two engine and transmission choices.

Consumers can soon get behind the wheel of the new Kia Stonic, with evaluation models due to arrive here by the end of November.
The small SUV comes with either a 1.4L naturally aspirated or 1L turbocharged petrol engine and the choice of a six-speed automatic or seven-speed dual clutch transmission.
Customer deliveries are set to start early 2021 and the Stonic will add to the marque’s SUV line-up, which includes the Seltos, Sorento, Sportage, and Niro Hybrid/EV.
Todd McDonald, managing director of Kia Motors New Zealand, says the Stonic brings “fresh excitement to the crossover experience”.
Pricing starts from $21,990.
