Sixt’s new site takes off

Premium car rental and subscription provider Sixt has opened in-terminal at Wellington Airport.

The new location offers easy access to its full fleet of rental, subscription and business services, and “seamless customer experience”.

Dubbed “new mobility”, the company’s one-day to one-year offerings boast a line-up of electric cars, SUVs, luxury and premium vehicles. Classic favourites, such as Toyota’s Corolla and Nissan’s X-Trail, are also available.

The branch in the capital joins its airport locations in Auckland, Christchurch, Queenstown and Dunedin.

Part of the Giltrap Group, Sixt’s range of rental and subscription products allows people to choose from a wide selection of new or near-new vehicles.

Rob Barlow, general manager of Sixt NZ, says the Wellington branch provides traditional short-term and holiday rentals.

The company’s “subscribe monthly” and “subscribe new” packages can be reserved online. Vehicles can be collected from the airport or delivered to the customer’s door. It also offers “scalable fleet solutions” on a month-by-month basis for companies of all sizes.
