Self-driving car scares gran
An American prankster used the self-driving features of a Tesla to leave his grandmother terrified as the vehicle started to move after he went back inside a house.
Lance Stewart’s 2020 video shows his relative cursing him – “I’m gonna kill you, you mother*****” – as the Model S goes into summon mode and reverses off a driveway on its own.
The YouTuber can barely contain his glee at her reaction to the stunt, which has attracted more than five million views. When he returns to the electric car, Stewart says: “Were you scared? We’ll go again.”
It’s not the first time his grandmother has been subject to one of his automotive pranks and she unleashed a tirade of abuse at him during an eventful visit to a car wash.
