Archibald & Shorter North Shore has defended its supreme retailer of the year title and collected two other prizes at this year’s annual awards for Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) New Zealand.

Motorcorp Distributors, importers of JLR vehicles, held the event at 131 Queens in Auckland this month to celebrate its network of dealers.

Besides picking up the top award, Archibald & Shorter North Shore was also named Jaguar retailer of the year, won the service team gong and the company’s Portia Leet scooped the John Fairhall Emerging Leader Award.

The supreme prize rewards leadership, sales performance and customer-first excellence.

Vernon Brown, general manager of Archibald & Shorter North Shore, says: “This recognition is a great honour, and certainly serves as a strong reminder of the drive and capability of our entire team.

“Our two category wins, alongside the Supreme Retailer of the Year Award, included the service team award, won for the fifth consecutive year.

“The recognition just reinforces our commitment to raising the benchmark year after year.”

Ebbett Prestige Tauranga took out a hat-trick of categories after being named the top Land Rover retailer and claiming the sales team, and events and partnerships awards.

These awards acknowledge operational excellence and the dealership’s dedication to brand-building through events and customer engagement.

Retailers including Duncan & Ebbett Hamilton, Armstrong Dunedin, Archibalds Christchurch, Archibald & Shorter Greenlane, Armstrong’s Wellington, and Prestige Collision Repair were also recognised for their excellence in categories ranging from business management and customer service to parts and events.

Ben Montgomery, general manager of Motorcorp Distributors, says its retailers showed “resilience and outstanding leadership” despite a challenging year.

“Their results reflect the dedication, innovation, and performance that continue to elevate the Jaguar Land Rover brand in New Zealand.”
