Regional changes at Honda
Asian Honda Motor Company – Honda’s Asia and Oceania regional headquarters – has announced changes in its top management.
Toshio Kuwahara has assumed the position of president and chief executive officer of Asian Honda Motor Co and head of the regional unit for Asia and Oceania.
These positions now come under regional operations (associated regions), which combines Japan with Asia and Oceania, South America, Europe, Africa and the Middle East.
Kuwahara, pictured, remains as operating executive of Honda Motor Co. He was previously general manager of the business planning division and head of the motorcycle business supervisory unit at Honda Motor Co in Japan.
Meanwhile, Masayuki Igarashi has been appointed managing executive officer and chief officer for regional operations (China) of Honda Motor Co.
