Recognising industry heroes
The Motor Trade Association (MTA) has launched a new award designed to honour the local heroes among its members.
The True Blue Award will be handed out monthly and recognise those who “go the extra mile” for the community.
Simon Bradwell, an MTA spokesperson, says: “We regularly hear of MTA members doing amazing things, like raising funds for charities such as hospices.
“MTA members also work with schools and students, support local events, and volunteer for community projects.
“They represent the best of what it means to be an MTA member, and we want to give them a pat on the back and say, ‘good on ya!’”
Bradwell adds all MTA members provide great service to the community but a special few go above and beyond for others.
“We really want the industry and public to get their thinking cap on and suggest some worthy winners.
“It’s a very open field and the judging panel will consider all nominations.”
All MTA members are eligible for the monthly award and almost anyone can nominate candidates.
