Winger Motors Hamilton has opened a pop-up car yard for MG models in Cambridge as it seeks to take the brand to a wider audience.

Paul Burborough, dealer principal, says the Albert Street site aims to create awareness of the marque in the satellite town and also serves as a pick-up and drop-up location for service customers who might struggle to make it to Hamilton

“There is an abundance of opportunity in our existing dealership market area with the MG brand and having a pop-up in Cambridge was the perfect way to test the market,” he adds.

“Although large lots of land are hard to come by in Cambridge, we are extremely lucky to be able to utilise the section we have.

“The MG Brand believes strongly in pop-ups through our marketing plan and therefore encouraged us to take the leap of a pop-up of this size rather than a smaller mall activation.”

Greg Brinck is the branch manager of Winger MG Cambridge and the pop-up features a customer service office installed by Event Base Ltd.
