New dealerships show ambition

The Giltrap Group has opened new Geely and Zeekr dealerships at its North Shore super-site in Wairau Valley, Auckland, as part of “ambitious growth plans”.

It means the group now offers vehicles from the Chinese brands at six sites nationwide, including one on Great North Road, Auckland. 

The latest showrooms opened on November 15 at the North Shore super-site, which is already home to a Kia franchise.

NordEast Vehicle Distributors is part of the Giltrap Group and is the official distributor of Geely Group brands in New Zealand.

Dane Fisher, group general manager for NordEast, adds: “The North Shore is a key market and Giltrap North Shore is one of the country’s leading dealerships. Having dedicated spaces for Geely and Zeekr is ideal for our ambitious growth plans.”

Consumers can check out Geely’s Starray EM-I Super Hybrid and all-electric Riddara RD6 Ute at the showrooms, while the Zeekr line-up features the X, the 009 luxury MPV and the 7X premium SUV.
