New role at industry association

The Motor Industry Association (MIA) has appointed Jarrod Ho to the new role of business intelligence and systems manager.

Ho, pictured, joins the association after spending more than 23 years at European Motor Distributors (EMD) in Auckland.

He has been EMD’s head of business quality for the past two years and before that was group business quality development manager.

His other previous roles with the group have included being Audi sales operations manager, product manager for Volkswagen and Audi, Volkswagen marketing manager, business development co-ordinator and market analyst.

Ho’s career started as a sales research assistant at TVNZ after graduating from the University of Waikato with a bachelor of management studies, marketing and leisure management.

Aimee Wiley, MIA’s chief executive, says Ho will bring skills and experience that will be of “enormous value” to the association.
