New faces for Mazda

Mazda New Zealand has appointed Terrianne Brown as general manager of marketing and James Smith as general manager – sales.

Brown will oversee the running of the marketing department as well as implementing brand and retail campaigns. Smith will work alongside the dealer network to help drive the marque’s sales in this country.

Previously, Brown held a brand-manager position with the company, while Smith was manager of dealer business.

David Hodge, pictured, managing director of Mazda NZ, says: “Terrianne and James are both passionate about the brand. I know they will do an outstanding job as the industry enters an exciting period of change over the next few years.”

The new appointments follow the departure of Glenn Harris after 15 years with the marque to a new role at the Warriors rugby league team. Smith and Brown will be based at Mazda NZ’s head office in Auckland.
