MTF celebrates top dealers
MTF Finance has handed out a number of gongs to staff at dealerships across the country to recognise their contribution to helping the company achieve substantial growth last year.
The winners of the inaugural MTF Finance dealer awards were announced in December before they were treated to a special celebration on Waiheke Island late last month.
Taash Haley, from Morrison Cars in Christchurch, took out the staff excellence prize “for being an excellent ambassador for the MTF Finance brand, going the extra mile for customers for rock-star results”.
Steven Zhang, from MIG Cars in Christchurch, scooped the business excellence award that celebrates the highest year-on-year net receivables growth for the October 1 to September 30 period.
Dion Prentice, from Dion's Motor Group in Cromwell, won the culture of responsibility gong, which recognises the dealership most engaged with and supportive of compliance at MTF Finance and adopting a culture of responsible lending.
Nicole Pye, from Buythiscar in Auckland, claimed the best performing new dealership award. This honour was open to newly-approved recourse dealers with strong growth and that had begun MTF Finance lending within the past 24 months.
Chris Lamers, MTF’s chief executive officer, says the awards come after a remarkable year of growth for the company in 2023, with profits increasing by 38 per cent.
“We’re thrilled to pay tribute to the significant contribution of our recourse dealers throughout 2023,” he adds.
“Our vehicle dealers embody the core values of our organisation, embracing responsible lending practices while prioritising exceptional customer experiences.
“The MTF Finance team congratulates all the winners and expresses gratitude to our recourse vehicle dealerships for their unwavering commitment to excellence and responsible business practices.”
