Mitsubishi dealers recognised
Mitsubishi dealers were recognised at the company's Diamond Dealer Awards. “As a company, we’ve enjoyed 52 months of consecutive year-on-year growth – topped in March by our largest sales month in ten years," Warren Brown, MMNZ's executive director says. "But it’s the dedication and continued hard work of our sales and service staff that truly inspire brand loyalty and drive these figures onward and upward.” In what was a hotly contested Diamond Dealer programme this year, the winners included first-time recipient Aaron Chatfield of Bay City Mitsubishi Tauranga. “As a salesman with Bay City for several years, Aaron played a large role in its success under the long-standing stewardship of Keith Henderson,” Brown says. “After taking over in June 2013, Aaron and his wife Angela have built on those foundations to take the business to new levels, capping their first year in charge with a much-deserved award. “Mark and Rae Barton epitomise what it takes to be a Diamond Dealer year-in, year-out – unfailing passion, dedication and determination.” Justin and Catherine Scelly of Baigent Motors in Matamata won this year’s Parts and Service Diamond Dealer Award. “Our extensive parts and service network is a vital part of our business and touch-point for many of our customers living outside of the main centres,” said Mr Brown. “Justin puts his customers first and absolutely ‘walks the walk’: he isn’t afraid of rolling up his sleeves and getting on the tools when necessary to meet customer expectations.” The list of winners in full:
