Bayswater Vehicles Motor Group has partnered with MG New Zealand to represent the brand in Hawke’s Bay.

The new sites will be known as Napier MG and Hastings MG. Between the two locations, they will offer a full suite of sales, service and after-sales facilities.

“MG is onto a winner with its new vehicles, especially the recent success of the MG4,” says Paul Brown, chief executive officer of Bayswater.

“We are already receiving inquiries for MG models and look forward to the new Hybrid MG3 along with other vehicles arriving in our showrooms very soon.

“At just under 600 square metres, our Napier MG showroom in Carlyle Street will be one of the largest in Hawke’s Bay.

“In Hastings, MG is located at our high-profile Stortford Lodge dealership, offering sales and service options to Hastings, and central and southern Hawke’s Bay customers.”

Arek Zywot, country manager of MG NZ, adds: “MG and Bayswater Vehicles are a natural fit. Both are household names built on a rich motoring heritage with strong ties to the local community.

“Furthermore, both have built a loyal customer following through offering quality cars at attainable prices, one which will be sure to grow with the introduction of low and no-emissions models.”

The partnership comes at a pivotal time for the marque with a number of new models waiting in the wings to launch.
