Toyota New Zealand has announced All Blacks legend Richie McCaw is its newest brand guardian, with the Rugby World Cup-winning star joining the company at Fieldays this week.

McCaw, pictured, teaming up with the company comes shortly after it also announced a partnership with New Zealand Rugby.

A number of its other brand guardians have been appearing at Toyota NZ’s site during Fieldays, which runs until June 14 at Mystery Creek, near Hamilton.

These include sporting legends, television personalities, everyday heroes and storytellers such as Willie Apiata, VC, Dame Valerie Adams, Matt Watson, Emma Twigg, Paddy Gower and David Liti.

Toyota NZ’s site at Fieldays 2025 has put the spotlight on commercial vehicles and accessories.

Models on display have included the Hilux Hybrid, Land Cruiser 70, Land Cruiser 300, Prado, Hiace and RAV4.

Andrew Davis, chief strategic officer, says Fieldays is the perfect place to showcase the capability, durability and reliability of its vehicles.

“Our commercial line-up is built for the real world, to support the farmers, tradies and business owners who are out there getting the job done,” he adds.

Toyota has a special Fieldays offer where anyone buying a new Hilux or select Land Cruiser 70 series models can choose between $2,500 worth of accessories or 3.5 per cent finance. This offer is available until August 31.
