Marque shows off food truck

The Peugeot Food Truck has been unveiled before going into action at Milan Design Week later this month. The van and trailer opens to reveal a mobile restaurant called Le Bistrot Du Lion. The concept’s kitchen has been designed by Euromag, a French company that specialises in designing interiors of food trucks. There are two grille plates, four induction burners, a deep fryer, ventilation system, 400-litre under-foot refrigerator, 350l fridge for drinks and an espresso machine. Peugeot says chefs working inside can prepare almost any type of cuisine due to the wide range of multi-function and professional-grade appliances. In addition to preparation, the vehicle also features storage space tables and umbrellas for up to 30 people. There’s also a DJ booth, while a 46-inch TV screen and speaker system allow patrons to watch their food being cooked. Peugeot says the idea behind its concept is to celebrate its history as a manufacturer of automobiles and tableware.
