Mercedes-Benz New Zealand has honoured its top-performing retailers during an uncertain and challenging year by making them 2021 Circle of Excellence members.

The recognition, which is in place of the marque’s previous retailer of the year awards, went to Armstrong Prestige Christchurch and Mercedes-Benz North Shore.

Mercedes-Benz NZ says the two businesses had performed well in a difficult year. “These retailers consistently demonstrate the commitment to excellence that’s been the hallmark of the Mercedes-Benz brand for more than 130 years, and we honour their dedication,” it adds.

Mercedes-Benz North Shore, pictured, scooped the honour for the second year in a row and staff members Victor Zhang, Ashwin Doolabh, Zach Bauer and Gary Hubbard also took out individual awards.

A post on the company’s Facebook page says: “On behalf of Bruce Miles, Craig Innes and the entire team at Mercedes-Benz North Shore, we would like to extend a sincere thank you to all our valued customers, without whom none of this would be possible.

“We will continue striving to provide existing and future customers with the best customer experience that we can offer.”

Armstrong Prestige Christchurch also had extra reason to celebrate with employees Jarrod Buchanan and Jeremy Duffy among the prize winners.

“We will continue striving to provide existing and future customers with the best customer experience that we can offer,” the company says.

The Retailer Circle of Excellence was introduced alongside individual accolades last year to acknowledge and reward the marque’s two top-performing dealerships.

The winners were announced during an online ceremony, which was followed by the marque presenting prize winners with their trophies and certificates at the Park Hyatt Auckland on April 22.
