Kids pick snacks over car
A behind-the-scenes peek at what went into creating a car advert has shown just what a group of children thought about their brush with fame.
A cast of youngsters and animals was involved in shooting the new TV campaign for the Mitsubishi Outlander, which started hitting our screens in July.
When asked in the video below what their favourite part of the day’s filming was, rather than naming anything about the SUV, they instead answered “snacks” or “the dog”.
However, the vehicle’s sunroof did receive plenty of praise and two girls also say they were told not to look at the camera while being filmed, which they say was a hard job to do.
The advert was extra special for Mitsubishi Motors New Zealand as the children of staff families were cast for the campaign despite the adage of never working with kids or animals.
