Operations/Logistics Co-Ordinator
About the role
Reporting directly to the Operations/Logistics Team Leader, the Operations/Logistics Coordinator plays an important role in supporting the day-to-day operations of the business. You will be responsible for delivering outstanding customer service, preparing quotations, coordinating freight and logistics activities, and supporting customers throughout their shipping journey. Working closely with customers, suppliers, operational teams and our Japanese head office, you will help ensure a seamless experience from enquiry through to successful delivery.
Key responsibilities
Respond to customer enquiries promptly and professionally via phone, email and online channels while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction
Prepare accurate quotations, follow up customer enquiries, and support the conversion of opportunities into confirmed bookings
Assist with import and export bookings across all markets and ensure the smooth coordination of customer shipments
Provide timely updates to customers regarding shipment status, documentation requirements and delivery milestones
Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, suppliers, service providers and internal stakeholders
Maintain accurate records, data entry and documentation within company systems and processes
Identify opportunities to improve customer experience, operational efficiency and internal processes
Assist with general administrative duties and provide support to the wider operations team as required
