Jaecoo launches in New Zealand
The Jaecoo J7 is now available in this country for an “incredibly competitive” launch price of $37,990 for the EX variant plus on-road costs.
Its EX plus specification sibling starts at $43,990. The introductory offer is available until the end of September.

The J7 is initially available with an internal combustion engine (ICE) with a plug-in hybrid version under consideration.
The ICE model features a 1.6T turbocharged engine paired with a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission, delivering a smooth and powerful drive.
Equipped with the innovative all-road-driven intelligent system, the J7 ensures “intelligent and efficient” control in all terrains. It has nearly 20 advanced driver-assistance system functions.
Kiwis purchasing a Jaecoo in 2024 will be backed by up to seven years’ AA roadside assistance and a seven-year vehicle warranty, regardless of mileage.
