ITSNZ AGM set for August 6

ITSNZ has revealed the dates for this year's annual general meeting, which serves as an opportunity to receive reports on the organisations involved and appoint a board of directors for 2019 to 2021.

ITSNZ AGM set for August 6

ITSNZ (Intelligent Transport Systems New Zealand) has revealed the dates for this year's annual general meeting. 

The ITSNZ 2019 AGM is an opportunity to receive reports on the organisations involved and also appoint a board of directors for 2019 to 2021. 

On August 6, the AGM will be preceded by a light lunch from 12, with proceedings beginning at 12.30pm, these include:

- Chairman’s report

- President’s report

- Treasurer’s report

- Board election, review of nominations and ballot to be held

- Tally of votes and announcement of new board members

- Close (approximately 2 pm)

"Position yourself as an industry leader and give back by helping to lead ITSNZ and assist with delivering on our objectives to promote the development and adoption of safe, sustainable and efficient transport solutions," said ITSNZ in a statement. 

"In the past two years, ITSNZ has delivered numerous events that help to inform the industry, we are supporting skills development, diversity."

Board member roles are voluntary. Directors are expected to represent the interests of the organisation and its aims, as described on our website and in our current business plan.

Nominees should be willing to attend board of directors meetings, in person or by video conference call and contribute to the success of activities such as the T-Tech conference, industry events and international forums and conferences. 

Board nominations are to be made in writing (by email) to secretary, Deryk Whyte by July 30.
