IT expert joins Geneva board
Laurence Goodman, who was also a former chartered accountant, appointed as a director of finance company.

Geneva Finance has announced the appointment of Laurence Goodman as a director.
In a statement to the NZX, the company says Goodman has 25 years’ experience in the IT industry, was a chartered accountant and holds a bachelor of commerce.
He also operates Goodman Services, an IT consulting business that serves small to medium-sized clients in New Zealand and the Pacific.
Geneva notes in its October 13 announcement that, as required by listing rule 2.6.2, the board has determined Goodman is not an independent director.
He will retire and stand for election at the next Geneva annual shareholder meeting, in line with the NZX Listing Rules.
