Industry association’s monthly webinar to examine push to toughen standards for used-imported light vehicles.
The Imported Motor Vehicle Industry Association (VIA) is hosting a webinar this month to discuss the government’s plans to change the vehicle exhaust emissions rule for units being brought into the country.
The online event, at 1.30pm on Tuesday, June 13, will detail the proposal to swiftly move used-imported light vehicles from the current Euro 4 standard to Euro 5. Ministry of Transport (MoT) officals then want to introduce the Euro 6 regime about two years later.
VIA’s staff will outline what the government’s consultation paper means for the industry and they are keen to hear the thoughts of industry members about the plans.
“This will give you the opportunity to discuss this proposal and give us feedback to assist our submission to government,” VIA says.
