Marque celebrates third consecutive year as winner of Canstar award.

Suzuki has once again taken home Canstar’s customer satisfaction new-car award.

Over the past decade, the marque has won the award more than any other automotive brand, which it says is a testament to the service it provides to consumers.

This is the seventh time Suzuki has secured the top spot in New Zealand, with previous back-to-back wins in 2014 and 2015 and 2017 and 2018, and now 2024-26.

The award allows people to rate their new vehicle across six categories comprising overall satisfaction with it, driving experience, reliability, point-of-sale service, after-sales service and value for money. 

“Suzuki is the only car marque to earn a perfect set of five-star reviews from its customers in our 2026 award ratings on key aspects of the purchasing and ownership experience”, says Tom Slee, Canstar’s group manager of wealth, health and New Zealand.

“Along with Suzuki’s decade-long dominance of our award, these results prove in an extremely competitive and fast-changing market that it continues to deliver Kiwis quality vehicles, great value for money and memorable driving experiences.”
