Fully electrified engine range
Mazda NZ has confirmed pricing and specification of the first-ever CX-60 and CX-90, which will join its SUV range in September 2023.
They are the first products to launch off the marque’s “large product” platform, bringing fresh design and efficient electrified powertrains to the local market.
Managing director David Hodge says: “The CX-60 and CX-90 are the most important new models for Mazda in a generation. They offer such innovation for driver engagement and passenger comfort all within striking designs.
“Offering a fully electrified engine range also plays a key part in our multi-solution strategy, which targets different products and powertrain technologies to best suit the local market’s sustainability demands and trends.”
There are four variants of the CX-60. The Touring e-SKYACTIV PHEV 2.5 starts at $78,990, the Homura e-SKYACTIV G 3.3 Hybrid is priced from $81,990, the Homura e-SKYACTIV PHEV 2.5 is $87,990 and the Takami e-SKYACTIV PHEV 2.5 costs $90,990.
The Mazda CX-90 Takami e-SKYACTIV G 3.3 Hybrid’s sticker price is $92,990. These are all recommended retail prices, which exclude on-road costs.
Hodge says that rarely before has a new model launch provoked such interest with unprecedented demand seen by the Mazda network across the country.
