Ford New Zealand has announced the winners of its annual President’s Awards, which puts particular emphasis on customer satisfaction scores for dealerships representing the blue oval.

The 2024 prize recipients were announced during a special dinner attended by dealer principals and their partners, as well as members of the Ford New Zealand team, on March 27.

The winners were Andrew Collett at Fairview Motors, Hamilton, Richard Burns of Avon City Ford, Christchurch, Paul McKendry from McKendry Ford, Blenheim, Nathan Abernethy at Regional Ford, Gore, and Mark Quirk from Wanganui Motors, Wanganui.

Annaliese Atina, managing director of Ford NZ, says: “The dealership teams should be very proud of this achievement. They’ve outperformed at every stage of the Ford customer experience.

“The industry continues to become more and more challenging for everyone so to win this award has taken an incredible amount of dedication and commitment by the dealer teams. Congratulations.”

The largest weighting for the President’s Award criteria is the Ford Customer Experience, as measured by customer satisfaction scores.

Ford NZ notes customer experience is a key business priority for the company and it has implemented a programme to work with its dealerships to improve all aspects of this.

Last week’s special dinner also celebrated the Ford Ranger being New Zealand’s number one vehicle for 10 consecutive years.
