Toyota NZ has opened the 17th Dream Car Art Contest by inviting children from across Aotearoa New Zealand to envisage the future.

The competition encourages youngsters to explore their imaginative ideas for mobility and sustainability by creating visually captivating and inspiring art.

From flying cars with zero emissions to hoverboards and space buggies for adventures on planets, it opens the door to endless possibilities.

Andrew Davis, vice-president of Toyota NZ, says: “The future of mobility is limited only by our imaginations. Through this contest, we want to inspire young minds to dream big and envision a world where anything is possible.

“Toyota is committed to innovation and sustainability, and we can't wait to see the incredible ideas young artists come up with.”

Until November 30, seven to 15-year-olds can participate by submitting their artwork and entry form via email to dreamcar@toyota.co.nz. Entries will be judged by Toyota brand guardians Dame Lisa Carrington, Dr Michelle Dickinson and David Liti.

Those in each category will have a chance to win an Apple iPad. Additionally, the top three entries from each age group will be entered as representatives of New Zealand in Toyota’s global contest. Visit www.toyota.co.nz/dreamcar for more details.
