Flasher causes race crash
A rally driver has admitted he crashed his car after losing concentration when a female spectator exposed her breasts during a snowy race in Russia.
Viktor Osmanov was driving for the Tula team at an event in Rostov when he caught sight of a woman beside the course lifting her T-shirt over her head, exposing her bra.
He says he was “distracted” by the sight and ploughed his Lada Samara into a snowy ditch, costing him and his team vital seconds.
Spectators at the scene can be heard laughing, but the crash meant the Tula team only finished third, instead of second in the Petrovskaya Versta competition, reports the Daily Mail.
Osmanov says: “This one was unexpected. I saw her and I failed to turn my corner.
“If she had only come up later, we would have laughed together. But no one took offence at her.”
The driver adds spectators flashing at rallies is not unusual and he has seen naked men, and girls waving their bras during races.
