Fastest Cadillac ever

Cadillac is adding the all-electric 2026 Cadillac Lyriq-V to its high-performance V-Series family.
It produces an estimated 452kW of power and 880Nm of torque to make the 60mph, or 95.6kph, dash in 3.3 seconds in velocity max mode (v-mode) meaning it’s the quickest Cadillac ever.
V-mode includes competitive mode and a unique sound experience. It’s intended to offer instant access to preferred performance-driving settings via a button on the steering wheel.
Competitive mode enables traction management features specifically engineered to increase vehicle agility.
The Lyric-V will be sold in the US, Canada, Australia, New Zealand and globally with production to start soon at General Motors’ Spring Hill Manufacturing plant in Tennessee.
The all-wheel-drive model’s standard continuous damping control, combined with a lowered multi-link suspension and quicker steering ratio, provides a “comfortable yet spirited” ride and handling.
Lyric-V includes a 102kW-hour battery pack that will enable a Cadillac-estimated range of 458km.
Additional performance-supporting and enhancing technologies include:
• Unique, multi-layered sound experience. Interior and exterior signature sounds are synchronised for an “orchestrated sonic experience”.
• Launch control, designed for “consistently thrilling” straight-line acceleration.
• Brembo performance front-brake calipers are standard. In addition to providing “excellent” stopping capability, they’re designed to provide consistent, fade-resistant performance during spirited driving.
• Standard super cruise, the industry’s first truly hands-free driver-assistance technology with three years of OnStar connected service.
The Lyric-V is identifiable by its front fascia and side rockers, body-coloured lower trim and available carbon-fibre accents, offering an unmistakably distinct persona.
It boasts 22-inch wheels with a dark-sport finish and an etched V-Series logo. They come with a choice of standard summer or available all-season tyres.
The cabin includes a 23-speaker AKG Studio audio system with Dolby Atmos and a 33-inch-diagonal advanced LED display. The Lyric-V will launch with a dual-plane augmented reality head-up display.
There are power-adjustable seat bolsters for the seatbacks, and cushions on the driver and front passenger seats.
Pricing and specifications for the new Cadillac Lyric-V for New Zealand and Australia are yet to be announced. Sales are slated to start in early 2026.
