Farmer Audi shines at awards
Farmer Audi has been named the marque’s dealer of the year for 2022, the third time in four years it has scooped the top gong at the Audi Excellence Awards.
The Tauranga dealership also scooped another six trophies during Audi New Zealand’s annual celebration, which this year was held in Christchurch.
Its other successes included Chris Thompson being named service adviser of the year, Jeff Price taking the service manager award and Mitchell Robertson triumphing in the parts manager category.
The company’s Ashley Turner was named business manager of the year, while other wins went to Shaun Marburg for metro sales specialist and Blair Woolford in the used car sales manager section.
Woolford, who is also dealer principal at Farmer Audi, says: “We are incredibly satisfied with such a successful result across the board.
“We are particularly thrilled that some of our newer Audi staff have won awards for their individual categories.
“The overall Dealer of the Year win is a testament to the hard work of the team and their understanding of the high standards set over many years to achieve excellence for ourselves and our customers.”
Farmer Audi also won the top prize at the 2019 and 2020 Audi Excellence Awards< https://autofile.co.nz/farmer-audi-repeats-title-success->, and it was a finalist in the same category in 2021.
This year’s event also made history when Eelco Witberg from Continental Cars and Mitchell Robertson from Farmer Audi shared the Parts Manager of the Year honour, the first time Audi NZ has announced joint winners for a prize.
Dean Sheed, Audi NZ’s general manager, says the awards are about celebrating exceptional business performance across its dealer network.
“Our program rewards those that deliver outstanding results across the metrics that we apply from customer service, technical, marketing, right through to sales results,” he explains.
“Delivering consistent results, at a premium level requires both the mindset and the full support of every area within the business.”
Sheed gave his congratulations to all of the winners for their outstanding performances in 2022, “especially Blair Woolford and the team at Farmer Audi in Tauranga, who thoroughly deserve the awards they received”.
