Electric plans for dealer group
Chinese electric vehicle (EV) brand Leapmotor will make its debut in New Zealand at three dealerships in Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch early next year.
The marque is being introduced to the domestic market by Auto Distributors New Zealand (ADNZ), part of Armstrong’s Motor Group, in January with the launch of its C10 model.
The mid-size SUV, pictured, will be available from Armstrong Leapmotor branches at 500 Great South Road, Greenlane, Auckland; 340 High Street, Lower Hutt, Wellington; and 161 St Asaph Street, Christchurch.
It is being offered in a single specification with a 160kW/320Nm e-motor, 69.9kWh battery pack and 420km claimed WLTP range. The C10 will have a sticker price of $54,990 plus on-road costs.
ADNZ adds its Leapmotor network of dealers is set to grow in the first half of 2025 to include all metro areas and a number of provincial cities.
