Ebbett takes out VW Dealer of the Year

Hamilton dealership Ebbett Volkswagen was awarded Overall Dealer of the Year at the first Volkswagen New Zealand Awards, held in Auckland this month. Ebbett Volkswagen were also awarded Metro Dealer of the year and Parts Department of the year at the awards ceremony, beating the other 16 dealers within the network. “This would not have been possible without the continuous support from our customers,” Ebbett Volkswagen said. “Thank you all - we couldn't have done it without you!”   The award takes into account the performance of each department within the business, for each month, over the full year, focusing on topline results, quality and delivery of brand experience. “The Dealer of the Year awards is a momentous occasion where we recognise just how important our people are,” said Tom Ruddenklau, general manager of Volkswagen New Zealand. “It is our dealer teams who ultimately make the difference and transform our business from being a company who delivers cars to a company who brings to life a customer relationship with the Volkswagen brand." Other awards were also delivered on the night, with Christchurch-based Miles Continental winning Metro Service Department of the year, Metro Passenger Sales Department and Metro Commercial Sales Department. IC Motor Group in Whangarei also walked away with trophies, winning Provincial Dealer of the Year and Provincial Service Department of the Year.
