Director quits Geneva post
Finance company seeking replacement after former chairman brings temporary role to an end.

Geneva Finance has announced the resignation of David Smale as an independent director of the company, which will be effective from March 31 this year.
Smale was the chairman of Geneva between September 2008 and June 2020 and returned temporarily as an independent director in September 2023.
The board says it wishes to thank him for his support and assistance over recent months and acknowledge his earlier years of service to the business.
Geneva is in the process of confirming a replacement independent director and hopes that will be completed before Smale’s departure.
